Tip: Breakfast spot very close to the Staircase and the Arches. If you want to take good photos of the Staircase, it's a good idea to have breakfast there because it gets very crowded with tourists. Good breakfast at a fair price.

Delicious food. Me and two friends went looking for lunch downtown at 4 pm after hiking in Tijuca in the morning and part of the afternoon (it was on Ash Wednesday). Despite the time, they were still serving food; it took about 25 minutes for lunch to arrive at our table. We ordered chicken parmigiana and it came with rice, beans, fries, and farofa. The meal was delicious and very well seasoned, and it came in a good quantity. I already know a great place to have lunch when I'm downtown. I only didn't give the atmosphere a perfect score because it could be more ventilated or have air conditioning. P.S.: The service was also very attentive and polite, congratulations to the employees! P.S.²: The dish was R$35, Guaravita R$3.50, and a 500ml bottle of water was R$4. Total: R$42.50.

I would like to thank the LAPA BAKERY Restaurant and Bakery located at Rua da Lapa, 207. I went there with some friends for breakfast. I informed them that I am lactose intolerant, and they promptly called Mrs. Elisangela, who then told me not to worry because she would wash the griddle (which I must say was incredibly clean and shiny) so that there would be no trace of lactose. I had a wonderful orange juice with a toasted bread roll, which I must thank them for because I had no problem with lactose at all, and I must say I really appreciated the attention, care, and cleanliness of the place. We should have more places in Rio de Janeiro where those of us who have these food intolerances can eat with satisfaction, without the risk of getting sick. Thank you very much LAPA BAKERY. I recommend this delicious place to everyone.
